The Sierra Community Chorus is open to all singers throughout our community.  We maintain high artistic standards, but you don't have to be a professional singer to get in the group.  If you can sing on pitch, can read music, and are willing to work to learn our music, you are the kind of person we are looking for.

Every new member must pass an audition which will consist of (1) singing scales, (2) demonstrating the ability to match pitch, (3) a simple sight reading exercise, and (4) singing a simple, familiar melody.

Our concert "seasons" begin in January and August, culminating in concerts in mid-May and the second and third weekends of December.

Rehearsals run from 6:30 p.m. to 9:20 p.m. on Tuesday nights.  They are held in Room D-2 of the Music Building on the Rocklin campus of Sierra College.
